Learn with Tira how to Hold and Engrave a Folding Knife from A to Z.
Course Objectives:
- Block and hold folding knives
- Layout & transfer of designs
- How to cut and shade more complex designs
- Background removal
- Background treatments
- All tools & materials provided in the class
Lessons learned apply to anything that is challenging to hold and engrave with traditional scrollwork.
Class Project: Stainless Steel Case Folding Knife
Course Duration: 5 Days
Attendance: 40 Hours
Requirements:
This class is for intermediate engravers. A basic understanding of engraving and tool sharpening required.
Students will have opportunities to use the PulseGraver® during the class along with other tools provided by JIA.
Located in Clifton NJ just outside NYC. Free parking. Accessible by train and other public transportation.
